Statement:

Niki de Saint Phalle was a French painter, sculptor and filmmaker.  She is best known for her oversized figures which embrace contradictory qualities while celebrating modern feminism’s efforts to reconsider and revalue the woman’s body.  The success of the Niki de Saint Phalle perfume line allowed the artist to fulfill her dream to create a park in Northern Italy, her most ambitious work.
